Here are the finished garment measurements for each style of outfit. Order a garment that is a little bit bigger than your child’s measurements (for waist, chest).  You want a little room for movement. One way to measure is to measure your favorite-fitting outfit and order one close to it, or a size up.

Many children wear a size larger than their age (so a 9 month old wears 12 month (AKA 9-12 Month) clothes).  That’s a rule of thumb however- as we know some 9 month babies wearing 6 month and some who wear 2T clothing!  Generally you can purchase these outfits in the same size they are wearing now in a similar outfit from most companies.  But double check the measurements given here to be on the safe side, especially for monogrammed garments!
